Confirmation
Faith-formation journey where students consider saying yes to vows made by parents at baptism
Students can be confirmed in the fall of their 10th grade year (or anytime after). Those wishing to be confirmed participate in Wednesday evening student ministry, having ten meetings with the Pastors during small group time. In addition, 6th through 9th graders are encouraged to participate in the following events as part of confirmation preparation:
· Summer Stretch in 6th, 7th, or 8th grade.
· Summer Mission Trip between 9th and 10th grades.
· Service to our community through coffee hour and the Easter Pancake Breakfast.
Parent-Student Nights
Three times per year, parents are invited to attend so that they can learn about our program and have time to connect for support and learning regarding current issues that may affect their family.
Examples of topics include:

Leadership Training
We believe that students thrive in their faith and life when they are given opportunities to lead. Here are 3 ways we provide this:

Grades 9-12: Summer Stretch
Grades 5-12: Vacation Bible School
Grades 10-12: Paid Student Internship
Alternating Mission Trip Opportunities ~ July

Mountain T.O.P. (Odd years)
For over 30 years, our church has sent a team to Mountain T.O.P. (Tennessee Outreach Project). Through dedication to rural life ministry in the Cumberland Mountains of Tennessee, our participants are transformed as they experience the needs of others.
Local Service Trip (Even years)
Students get an opportunity to serve a community through a well-established organization that is within 6-8 hours of home. In 2026 few will be partnering with a camp that teaches about Indigenous history and provides service opportunities to a community that has the second lowest poverty rate in the country.
