Grove Kids Sunday Mornings
Preschool through 5th Grade
Sundays, Sept-May, 9:00 am & 10:30 am
Kids are invited into the Biblical narrative by hearing and creatively responding to stories through art, crafts, games, and
construction. Children will learn and interact with all major Bible stories over a 3-year period by learning from The
- Preschoolers - Are dropped off in preschool room (102) before worship.
- Elementary - Come to worship with their parents for 10-15 minutes, and then transition to Kids Programming for K-2 and 3-5 grades.
Stepping Stones through Faith
Stepping Stones Through Faith are developmentally appropriate workshops which have been designed to facilitate understanding and discussion for children and their adults about Christian faith. When kids participate in something specific to a Stepping Stone, they receive a stone with a symbol to remember that experience: each time they take or serve communion, watch a baptism, lead a prayer or reading in worship, participate in a workshop, or engage in service. Kids and parents are often given blessings in worship to mark the milestone.

Special Events and Stay & Plays
Throughout the year The Grove sponsors fun family events such as: Halloween Masquerade, Train-to-be-an-Elf, Easter Hullabaloo, Pop-Up Pumpkin Patch, and Kick Off Sunday. Families can enjoy free food and activities year-round.
Once per month, kids and parents get to stay after regular Grove Kids for lunch and free play during Stay And Play. Activities include, but are never limited to: extra playtime outside, floor hockey inside, building forts, building towers and lots of craft & creative opportunities!
Parent Luncheons
Several Times a year we provide equipping parent meetings that provide a free lunch and special activities for children. This is a time for parents to get to know each other, children to play together more and for your family to thrive.-Up Pumpkin Patch. Young families can enjoy free food and activities year-round.
Nursery and Childcare
6 weeks-2 years
Sundays, Oct-May, 9 am and 10:30 am
Nursery care is provided by a trained caregiver on Sunday mornings during 10:30 am worship. After signing in your child, you receive a pager.
Summer Kids' Programming
Grasshopper in The Grove
One time per week, meet us in The Grove for stories, crafts, and playground fun. For kids ages 6 and under. No registration is needed.
Vacation Bible School
First full week of August from 9 to Noon
School Age groups of a maximum of 8 follow two leaders through stations during the day. Preschool classes of a maximum of 8 and a minimum of 2 leaders provide a fun, safe and memorable experience. Registration
is usually open by June.
